Eventful get-together for the industry!

What was once the site of open-cast brown coal mining played host to the GCO industry party held on Thursday, 8 July 2010. The warm summer evening was perfect for the chosen location on Lake Markleeberger, attracting a large number of GCO guests to a relaxed get-together for their industry. There was plenty of conversation, laughter and talk about their experience of the trade show so far. The lavish buffet was enjoyed by party-goers, with food and drink happily consumed at sunset. At the same time, the delicious food was a boost for the party's next attraction, when the brave and adventurous among the guests took part in a very special fast-water rafting tour in the Markkleeberg canoe park. Under expert instruction from canoe  guides, there was enthusiastic team paddling and swimming, with one or two canoeists managing to end up overboard given the very turbulent conditions.

After several exciting canoe trips, everyone finally got back on dry land in good shape and ready for the Maximilian Syndicate band to make its grand appearance, creating a terrific atmosphere. Guests could shake a leg far into the night, making it a perfect end to a perfect party.
